Still on the fence about adding a laser scanner to your kit? Or maybe you know you want one, but cutting through the noise to find the right model feels like navigating a minefield? This video should help.
I’ve been testing the CHCNAV scanner for over 12 months now, and what’s impressed me most is the consistent product development. I used GPS kits from Leica, Trimble, and Topcon for years – and nothing frustrated me more than sluggish software updates or complete radio silence once the product launched.
CHCNAV, on the other hand, keeps showing up. Regular updates. Clear improvements. They’re genuinely listening to engineers and surveyors here in the UK and evolving the product based on real-world feedback. That’s the kind of support you want when you’re investing serious money.
No one wants to drop thousands on a scanner only for it to become obsolete a year later—or worse, to see zero development or support. That’s not the case here.
To be honest, I didn’t think the system could improve much—it’s already incredibly user-friendly. But even I’ve been surprised by what’s in the pipeline. They’re not just tweaking features—they’re building toward a full-scale survey solution.
The scanning industry’s moving fast. In just two years, we’ve seen huge shifts in how surveys are done. Relying on outdated 2D drawings just isn’t cutting it anymore. If you want accurate design, real-time site data, and solid progress monitoring—you need tools that match the pace of modern construction.
I get it—it’s an investment. But if you're serious about future-proofing your workflow, this video should give you the clarity you need.
And if you want to chat through it properly, reach out to us at PQS Tech. We don’t just sell the RS10—we’ve been using it day in, day out for two years. We’ll give you the straight-up lowdown before you part with your hard-earned cash.
All the best,
